Leia Hohenfeld creates immersive flute-based sound works rooted in improvisation, breath, and atmosphere. Drawing from experimental, ambient, and free improvisational traditions, her performances explore texture, stillness, deep listening, and resonance, often weaving low flutes and extended techniques into expansive sonic landscapes. Based between Cleveland and the San Francisco Bay Area, she brings an intuitive and atmospheric approach to collaborative performance, recording, and composition.
