Max Jaffe is a drummer, producer, composer, and technologist based in Los Angeles, CA. His work expands the possibilities of composition and collaboration through the drum set.
In 2025, Jaffe released "You Want That Too!" on Colorfield Records. Eclectic and tuneful, the album received praise from Pitchfork and is being followed by a series of special live performances in varying formations.
Max is a founding member of experimental rock collective JOBS, Amirtha Kidambi's Elder Ones, and several others. He has toured, performed, and recorded with many diverse artists including Wild Up, Steph Richards, Nels Cline, Ava Mendoza, Cass McCombs, DARKSIDE, Normal Love, Jeff Parker, Vinny Golia, Peter Evans, and many others.
leshy is a Santa Cruz-based interdisciplinary sound artist, DJ, educator, and curator. Their work takes shape across performance, installation, happenings, internet radio, and intermedia formats, with varied collaborations folded into those frameworks. They build unruly playable systems to explore precarities in perception, memory, time, place-relations, and infrastructure. They have toured and played venues throughout the US and Japan, and occasionally produce limited CD and tape releases with their friends. They run an event series known as scum; they help organize and produce shows on Jetty Radio (SC) and bed crumb show* (LA), and co-direct the international music festival Woodstockhausen.
